Ciao, il mio nome è Enrico e sono il DJ e fondatore di questo programma, ho 22 anni e frequento l’università a Venezia; seguo Radiocafoscari fin dalla sua nascita, da circa 2 anni.
Ho iniziato nel 2002 a creare musica tramite software, l’idea di iniziare a mixare l’ho invece avuta molto più tardi quando nacque un progetto a Mestre per creare una radio cittadina, non se ne fece niente ma imparai a mixare tramite CD-J.
Pian piano imparai ad usare software sempre più complesso tanto da creare una serie di canzoni e da pubblicare un album.
Quando andai all’univeristà incontrai Radiocafoscari che si proponeva come web radio di ateneo ma dotata di un’ampia autonomia, visto che la mia passione è, e spero sarà sempre, la musica Trance ho avuto l’idea di creare un programma che si occupasse di questo fantastico genere e sono riuscito a coinvolgere anche alcune persone ;-)
My DJ’s activity has started when I was 16-17 with an initiative of my city to create a
local radio, the project has failed but for 2 years I’ve tried & played with console and
mixer…this has been a good training.
My friends used to call me “Potter” cause they I remember them (a bit) Harry P., specially for the glasses, cause my name has been DJ Potter, usually I wrote “from Italy” cause there is another DJ in England who is called Potter.
But now I’ve changed it in “DJ Aerol” (it’s the name of a fellow in a book of W.Gibson - “Neuromante”).
One day, when I was 18 my job’s boss bought a sort of “bar” (a small place, local where you go to get drink and to chat with other people), so he has need to have a DJ for this. I & DJ Throttle (with his console) have mixed for the “open-day” of this place, and for a lot of other Saturdays evenings/nights.
Now I’m attending the college in Venice and I play for the web radio of my University.
The name of the program is ” An Emotion Called Trance”.

Salve a tutti!
Cosa c’è da dire? Allora chiamatemi Al che fate cosa gradita e andremo d’accordo!
Sono un ragazzo con la passione per la musica, e forse per questo sono stato ingaggiato, vero Aerol?
Collaboro con Dj Aerol, conosciuto all’università, che mi ha scelto per commentare, lanciare i pezzi e vocalizzare il nostro programma di musica Trance, che ci da tante soddisfazioni!
Sono affianco ad Aerol dall’inizio di questo cammino, dalla prima puntata e al momento posso dire che va sempre meglio!
All’inizio le cose non sono state facili, ma ora grazie ad un utilizzo più studiato di alcuni programmi e di una parlantina migliorata non posso lamentarmi!
Questo è un pò un messaggio per tutti voi, con calma si può fare tutto!
Per quanto riguarda me posso dirvi che al momento sto cercando la mia strada…

I’m a boy with a strong passion for music, and maybe I was engaged for this reason, right Aerol?
I work with Dj Aerol, I met him at university and he chose me to speak, present tracks and also to comment our Trance music program which brings us pleasure!
I have Joined Aerol since the beginning of this experience, from the first episode and now I can affirm it’s going better and better!
At the beginning things were not so easy, but now I use computer programs in a better and smart way and I speak plainly!I can’t complain!
This is a message for you all, with patience everything can be done!
In the end I can tell you that I’m looking for my way…
…I hope to find it as soon as possible!

Ciao mondo!
Mi chiamo Elena e tutti mi chiamano Ely, ma quando divento la voce femminile di An Emotion Called Trance la mia anima vola in alto e divento Aly.
Io c’ero! Posso dire che ho visto nascere questo programma e che ho creduto fin dall’inizio alla sua realizzazione e alle fantastiche persone che ci lavorano. Quando dj Aerol parla di musica ha sempre una luce particolare negli occhi ed è proprio questa voglia di crederci che mi ha contagiata!
Io sono… sono il sale che mancava al programma: indispensabile ma da assumere a piccole dosi! Sì!
Accompagno questa musica che tocca il cuore con brevi descrizioni sui pezzi e gli autori, rendendo ancor più piacevole il suo ascolto!
Anch’io, come dj Al, vi voglio salutare con un messaggio: aiutiamoci a rendere questo mondo ogni giorno un po’ migliore!
Hi everybody!
My name is Helen and my nickname is Ely, however everybody calls me Aly when I am the female vocalist in the An Emotion Called Trance programme. The word “Aly” is pronunced like the italian word “wings” and I chose it beacause my soul flies high when I speak to the radio.
I was there! I was here when this programme arose and I loved it and its working team from the beginning. When dj Aerol speaks about music he has a peculiar light inside his eyes and this magical light conquired me!
I´m… I´m the necessary salt for the programme! You know, a little bit! Yeah!
During the programme I speak about tracks and artists while the music touches the hearts of people… and I make the listening more pleasant!
As dj Al, I want to leave you a message: help ourselves to save the world, together!
